Personal Data:

Protecting the privacy and the personal data of our visitors and clients is of utmost importance to us.

Nowadays, the European regulation on data protection (abbreviated ‘’GDPR’’ for General Data Protection Regulation) is the most protecting legislation on personal data protection in the world.

For this reason, GB Australian Migration Law has chosen to have its website, and database, hosted in France with the company One2Net (address: 68 Boulevard de Port Royal, Paris).

At GB Australian Migration Law we are responsible for the collecting and processing of your personal data.

We only collect and use data which are necessary for our activity of Australian migration agent. For this reason, your personal data can be transferred in Australia for processing requirements, including the provision of services requested.

As part of our job, we may need to collect different kinds of information from you, such as: your name, surname, address, date of birth, photo, passport number, signature, gender, marital status, qualifications, profession, bank statements, health information, phone number, email…

Personal data can be collected either from our website, email, phone interview, or any other suitable mean. Your personal data are only accessible by our agents in charge of your case. Data can be transmitted to service providers for processing needs, notably regulation (example: English translation of documents with a NAATI accredited translator – « National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters »).

We will never use your personal data without your consent.

We will keep all your personal data which are necessary for the processing of your file on your ‘’personal space’’ (which is available on our website once you become our client) for a period of 5 years from the last contact we have with you.

You have access to your documents at any time simply by connecting into your personal space using your username and password. After this 5-year period your personal data will be archived for 5 more years before being erased.

We care about the security and protection of your data. This means that we only deal with third parties whom we deem trustworthy, and who have themselves taken satisfactory protection measures to comply with GDPR requirements, in particular in regards to IT security.

Emails and other means of communication exchanged between you and GB Australian Migration Law will be kept in our archives for a period of 7 years after the last action taken on your file. We will only retain emails and other means of communication if you became a client of our firm and received a service from us (this could include, but is not limited to, initial consultation and visa applications).

You have the right, at any time, to ask to have your personal information modified or deleted from our database, only if this does not violate regulatory, legal or legitimate requirements to which we are bound.

Furthermore, GB Australian Migration Law is bound by the Australian Solicitors’ Conduct Rules, and the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority’s Code of Conduct, in particular in regards to record keeping and management of clients’ information.

For any request pertaining to the management, modification, or erasing of your personal data, please contact us at:
